VoIP Equipment for Skype

To use Skype is simple. Assuming you have a PC and broadband connection, then get yourself a headset or VoIP phone (see below for some options) and download Skype.

You don't need anything fancy. A simple headset with microphone will do and the cost as little as $15. You may find, however, that a wireless headset is much more convenient if you use Skype a lot. And the convenience of a phone that looks and feels like a phone is very handy to use with Skype.

Be sure to buy new as headsets are rather fragile and if you buy a used one it probably won't last long.
