The bright light on the tropical waters in the background with Tak in the foreground make her look dark. She has tanned skin already but they usually shoot the Thai models with very bright lighting to make them look fair skinned instead of tanned. It's just not the popular look, no market for tanning salons or tanning lotion in Thailand. When we go to a tropical resort we usually do our best to stay out of the sun and even when we do water sports we try to stay covered as much as possible.
