Many Thai people think Dusita is luuk khrueng (mixed Thai and caucasian). The interviewer asked her about that. She says she is 100% Thai, not mixed at all. Part of it might be that she grew up in Australia and behaves more like a westerner in some ways than a Thai. She says her family moved there on doctor recommendations because she was very unhealthy as a toddler and the doctor said the pollution in Thailand would be bad for her. That's a little bit weird. Bangkok is dirty, for sure. And Chiang Mai has really bad air pollution. But most of the country is rural and air and environment is clean. So why move to another country when you could just move up-country (like I did)?
